A full year USCF rated chess league, 10 months 40 matches. Compete in as many or as few AACL events, earning points throughout the year and fighting your way up the AACL League Table. The top 8 players are invited to a post season playoff for the AACL Cup, a challenge pits the finest chess players in Augusta against each other. All League events have an 'Open and a U1100 bracket, each bracket maintains its own results, playoffs, and champion.
The League Table
Monthly Event results are tracked and published on The League Tables for the entire 2024 Season. All Players are represented on the tables for the entire 2024 season regardless of points earned or number of events attended. Tie breakers: Head to head results, number of wins, victory points

1 point - Play in an AACL Monthly event
1 Point - Win a game at an AACL Monthly Event
1/2 Point - Draw a game at an AACL Monthly Event
2 Points - Place First in an AACL Monthly Event
1 Point - Place second in an AACL Monthly Event
Playing in a Monthly Event can earn between 1 and 7 points with a maximum season total of 70 Points
Disclaimer: The Combat League was the predecessor to the AACL, events were not swiss paired, players were allowed to challenge other players, pairings were not fair across all participants.
